AI TOKENS - Reflection Video

I took a short break from LinkedIn this week. Spent it in Poland, at the summer house where I grew up, in for my best friend's wedding. And one thought followed me the whole way there. The way most companies are buying enterprise AI doesn't make sense anymore. Token maxing, spending and hoping it pays off, was always a little silly. Now it's reckless. Here's where it actually bites: AI coding agents. Large dev teams running them across a dozen tools and models, burning through budgets at 5x, even 10x what anyone forecasted. A couple hundred bucks a month quietly became a real line item while nobody was looking. And that's not only a cost problem. It's where the savings are hiding too, for anyone who can actually see it. The era of cheap, subsidized AI is quietly ending. The free credits, the loss-leader pricing, all of it. What's left is the real bill. The companies that can see what they're spending, and what they're getting back, are the ones who come out ahead. The next few months decide a lot of this. If you're somewhere in the middle of it, reach out. I'm always happy to talk it through. https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulbrzozowski/
